Position: Area Business Manager

Location: Trivandrum, Calicut, Kerala, India

Job Description:

  • Communicate and collaborate with subordinates on goals.
  • Ensure complete strategy/system implementations as per directives received from Head Office
  • Induct new employees as per the company’s policy, ensuring no deviation while practicing policies and code of conduct.
  • Ensure all joining and statutory documents of new Joined reach the HR Department on time.

  • Ensure MCL is updated of each territory
  • Create and execute an effective call plan with BOs.
  • Resolve field issues, dealing with stockist & chemist.
  • Coordinating with HO for compliance issues.
  • Prepare and submit the tour program for self and team as per the guidelines in the given time limit
  • BO’s work analysis of the previous month at the review meeting at the beginning of the month which should include,
    • Primary/ Secondary Analysis
    • Campaign Implementation
    • Near-Expiry Stock
    • Stock position: Brand wise with each stockist
    • Customer Coverage
    • Missed Call Analysis

  • Monthly planning should include the following Scheduled,
  • o Activity Plan eg.: Campaign
  • o Target Achievement Plan
  • Stockiest wise Plan
  • Product-wise plan
  • Value-wise achievement plan
  • Build business relationships with assigned Doctors.
  • Training and development of BO’s.
  • Ensuring timely appraisal of subordinates as per schedule.
  • Attend and participate in quarterly or cycle meetings.
  • Monitoring and ensuring DCR submission on time of each subordinate.
  • Facilitate utilization of samples and support materials with proper communication.
  • Ensuring team compliance to sample regulations.
  • Give guidance to subordinates for claiming monthly expenses, arrange & monitor their tour program.
  • Brief BO’s on the incentive scheme.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Any graduate, with 4- 5 years of experience as an MR and 1- 2 years of experience as an ASM preferably in the relevant region
  • Strong basic understanding of pharmaceutical marketing and therapeutic area
  • Deep knowledge of customer behavior and products
  • Basic computer skills; good influencing, networking, and interpersonal skills; strong communication skills and team player
  • Individuals with the ability to drive results through processes and people, a basic understanding of the Indian pharmaceutical industry and business
  • Good verbal and written communication skills; good learner and coach with a problem-solving attitude

Qualification: Graduation

Experience: 6-11 Years

Salary: Negotiable
