Job Description:

About the department

Novo Nordisk India affiliate office is in Bangalore & has more than 1,300 people working across the country in various functions. The Key Account Manager is accountable for a specific location within India and reports to the Area Sales Manager.

The position

  • As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for defining budgets and ensuring adherence to set targets.
  • Building long term strategic alliance with key accounts to continue to add value and promote Service offerings to identify/create and fulfil commercial opportunities.
  • Proactively develop customer relationships by understanding / anticipating needs and providing appropriate solutions to advance the sales process.

  • You will be responsible for creating and implementing end to end account plans for key accounts, modifying medical science liaison composition, setting key performing indicators, and monitoring achievement.
  • You will ensure strong customer experience across multiple stakeholders in the accounts (KOLs, Doctors, interns, nurses, pharmacies, relevant doctors from allied specialties, admin).
  • Responsible for planning and organizing product promotion campaigns, arranging scientific presentations to pre-selected key institutions, and carry on other relevant events.
  • You will be displaying a service mindset, proposing solutions, delivering results, and achieving sales targets across the product portfolio at targeted accounts. Anchoring strong knowledge across the products in the Novo Nordisk portfolio.
  • Ensuring the call plan execution, high level of consultative selling, and customer service by the Key Account Managers (as per the account plan).
  • In collaboration with the marketing, medical team, and regional Key Accounts Managers, deliver the desired results.
  • In-detail awareness on the accounting ecosystem and know-how with the multiple key opinion leaders, administrators, nurses, educators, etc.

Qualification: B.Sc/B.Pharma for Reputed College/Institution, MBA/PGDM, M.Pharma

Experience: 10-13 Years

Salary: Negotiable (Best in Industry)
