If yes, then you may be the one we are looking for as Associate Manager Business Development (Nursing Home Projects) for Novo Nordisk India, Bengaluru.

Position: Associate Manager -Business Development – Nursing Home Project

Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India

Job Description:

About the department

  • Novo Nordisk is a Denmark based multinational with leadership in diabetes. Novo Nordisk India affiliate office is located in Bangalore & has more than 1200 people working across the country in various functions. The Associate Manager Business Development position reports directly to the Lead Nursing Home Projects.

The position

  • As an Associate Manager Business Development, you will be identifying or mapping key stakeholders in each account, ensure strong customer experience across multiple stakeholders in the accounts (senior doctors, interns, nurses, pharmacies, relevant doctors from allied specialties, admin).
  • Detailing the company’s products and implementing the company’s nursing home marketing campaigns.
  • You will be leading the process of effective implementation of the account plan for nursing home accounts. Being responsible for achieving sales targets for the respective accounts.
  • You will be displaying a service mindset, proposing solutions, and delivering results. Anchoring strong knowledge across the products in the Novo Nordisk portfolio.
  • In-detail awareness on the accounting ecosystem and know-how with the multiple KOLs, administrators, nurses, educators, purchase officers, etc. interpret current physician referral patterns, trends, and financial margins, ensuring that sales resources are optimized.
  • Building relationships with physicians and medical staff through face2face meetings, generating new leads for nursing homes to ensure understanding and to close business. Ensuring that obstacles are identified and minimized.
  • Implementing marketing activities like Continuing Medical Education and other relevant activities in all the important nursing homes on regular basis and meeting all the important doctors who have attended the meetings.
  • In collaboration with the Commercial Affairs and Strategy team and regional Associate Manager Business Developments deliver results.

Desired Skills:

  • Good at business developments at ground levels in hospitals,  preferably worked in hospitals/nursing homes in previous roles
  • You should have an excellent communication skill both oral and written
  • Strong at stakeholder management
  • A strong track record in thorough planning, execution, and follow-up is required, with a creative and innovative attitude that will enable you to drive initiatives with operational excellence in mind

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Pharma / Administration / Science / Engineering from a reputed institution.

Experience: Miinimum experience of 7 years in pharmaceuticals and a minimum of 2-3 years of working with corporate hospitals or nursing homes

Salary: Negotiable (Best in Industry)
