Position: Dy Manager – Corporate Affairs

Location: Bangalore, Karnataka, India

Job Description:

  •  Cascade corporate affairs agenda at unit locations
  • Ensure positive engagement with key external stakeholders
  • Support in obtaining approvals/permissions/ NOCs for the plant location on time
  • Support in ensuring business continuity at the unit location
  • Keeping track of political/ government level developments and share timely updates having an impact on the business

Accountabilities:

1. Drive the agenda of the Corporate Affairs team at the site and ensure effective implementation of policies

  • To Support in strengthening Government Relations functions in areas relating to Public Policy,
  • Interaction with state governments and other stakeholders such as FDA, Pollution Control Board, etc.
  • Execute CA stakeholder engagement strategies at the unit locations

2. Liaise with the local govt, legislative bodies to be updated of any policy changes at the local level and to ensure business continuity

  • Relationship building with external community/stakeholders.
  • Evaluating opportunities for collaboration with various Govt. bodies as per policy from time to time.
  • Prepare engagement matrix for State Government bodies, tracking.
  • Ensure business continuity in situations arising out of non-compliance by way of effective advocacy and negotiation with external stakeholders/authorities.
  • Representing on behalf of plant location for government hearings/ proposals/ briefings etc.

4. Coordinate with the Business teams at the Unit Location for Regulatory issues/priorities

  • Internal stakeholder Engagement- Coordinate with Plants /Regulatory/ Business on key projects/ Corporate affairs matters.
  • Support unit team in handling major compliance issues- Support in obtaining CTO/ EC, key safety compliance such as FIRE Safety approvals, Safety training.
  • External safety audits, Labour, and Factory norms by effective engagement with the respective Authorities.
  • Keeping watch of policy-level changes at State Pollution Norms/MOEF and aligning internal stakeholders accordingly to avoid any business threats/damages.

5. Drives communication and documentation to effectively follow compliance at the Unit location.

  • Monitors news media and government sources for potential changes in regulatory and legislative areas to ensure effective communication.

Desired Candidate Profile

1.Graduate / Post Graduate in Management Studies.

2. Prior experience with the Pharma sector, Policy & Public Affairs will be an added advantage.

3. Kannada Language – Mandatory

4. Experience at Plant level in HR IR, Admin IR, EHS, QA. (Can be considered)

5. Plant / Unit Location experience mandatory.

Qualification: MBA/PGDM

Experience: 3-7 Years

Salary: 4,75,000 to 9,00,000 INR CTC/PA
