Designation: Expert Sales Executive – Nutrition

Location: Mumbai, Palakkad, Thrissur, Kottayam, Kannur

Key expectations:

  • Knowledge of science
  • Good understanding of the human anatomy and physiology, and demonstrates the ability to effectively communicate necessary technical & scientific nuances, health management information and science to Health Care Professionals (HCP), pharmacists and all other Key Opinion Leaders.

Expert Marketing Strategy Implementation:

  • Implement coverage plan and execute marketing activation plans as advised by the organization from time to time
  • Ability to build a relationship to bring about a belief shift amongst covered HCPs through a combination of science and persuasion
  • Ability to engage customers in Medical Conferences and Education Programs, which are aimed at providing value to the HCP, thereby increasing the breadth and depth of the Expert business

  • Provide comprehensive information to retail pharmacists to ensure they are properly educated and equipped to handle patient queries, demands and provide positive recommendations
  • Collaborate with the General Trade field managers and executives to support the business
  • Complete all activations as planned to ensure strategy implementation identify new business opportunities:
  • Seek guidance from the first line and second-line managers to conduct market development activities, retail chemist audits & competitor intelligence activities from time to time
  • Networking Skills with various local expert associations to identify practice shift trends or impeding regulatory changed responsibilities
  • Prepare and Maintain territory performance data, doctor profiles, chemist profiles and execution data in stipulated formats for effective management of the territory
  • Reconcile and share a monthly inventory of all inputs and samples
  • Timely and accurate reporting as per systems & process laid out by the organization
  • Respond promptly to all expert queries within the individual’s area of knowledge and to seek support to resolve the same

  • Strict adherence to compliance protocols of the organization
  • Provide accurate information pertaining to nutrition products and their approved indications in a manner which will ensure only labeled use of these products
  • Report adverse events, if any to the concerned manager through proper channel
    Key Competencies:
  • Ability to work in teams to execute organizational strategies
  • Excellent communication skills in English & Vernacular & knowledge of the territory
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the territory and work independently to accomplish key priorities and tasks
  • Strong Execution skills to convert marketing plans into the strong on-field presence of all Expert promoted products
  • Good interpersonal skills that can help build relationships with KOLs, internal stakeholders & Key accounts
Qualification: B.Pharma, B.Sc
Experience: Minimum 3 Yrs as Medical Representative
Salary: Negotiable
