Position: Group Leader – EHS

Location: Goa, India

Job Description:

  • Single Point of Contact for EHS legal compliance, ETP operations, overall campus environment management
  • Develop Environment improvement plans for the Goa Campus and track the progress – by considering the ever-changing regulatory environment/industry best practices
  • Implement TEVA Environment standards in its true spirit.  Put right systems, SOPs, Monitoring mechanisms in place a for effective program implementation
  • Investigate all the environment incidents and ensure proper CAPA is in place to prevent a recurrence
  • Ensure the smooth running of the Effluent treatment plant with all the key operating parameters always well within the prescribed limit

  • Hazardous waste managed as per the consent / legal conditions. Work with the Hazardous waste generating sections to improve the compliance and reduce the wast
  • The site legal register is maintained as per the frequency defined in the Site procedure and escalate the compliance-related issues to site management
  • Provide technical-level support for environmental improvement projects, including system design and determination of regulatory applicability
  • Inspect all the areas in order to evaluate the operational effectiveness of the systems and ensure compliance with environmental regulations
  • Develop MIS systems for effective monitoring of site Environment performance – Daily reports, Monthly reports, etc
  • Serve as liaison with state and local agencies and officials on issues pertaining to Environment management
  • Bring awareness on the among all the Employees on the Environment Protection and waste reduction
  • Match with the expectations of customer social audit Environment compliance requirements
  • Track greenhouse gases Emissions and implements programs for control

Qualification: B.E/B.Tech Preferable Chemical

Experience: 10-12 Years, ISO 14001/ Environment certification (hands-on experience on PiE Assessment is an added advantage)
