Position: Jr Research Associate
Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
Job Description:
Knowledge:
- Understands the basics of synthetic chemistry
- Can anticipate interactions of various chemicals
- Skilled in using chemical engineering-specific software and equipment
- Can explain complex problems using non-scientific terms
Functional/ Technical Skill:
- Write/check/review pharmaceutical documents as per regulatory requirements (method and validation documents/ variations/ additional question responses)
- Can work with different stakeholders to collect & convey information both with peers and supervisors
- Need to be aware of safety procedures and can work with hazardous materials
Soft Skills:
- Highly organized with strong analytical & research skills
- Strong numerical, written & verbal communication
- Possess a logical and inquisitive mind
- Have an eye for detailing and thoroughness
- Is patient with the ability to adapt
- Can independently handle tasks & work with minimum supervision
- Possess organization & interpersonal skills
Threshold Requirement in the Job role ( additional but not mandatory)
- Can organize and administer clinical trials of new or current drugs in order to assess the benefits and risks of using them
- Can design trial materials and supply study centers with sufficient quantities
- Can manage regulatory authority applications and approvals that oversee the research and marketing of new and existing drugs
- Need to be a problem-solver with a solid understanding of scientific data collection and management methods
Qualification: M.Sc. (Synthetic/Organic Chemistry)/ M.Tech. (Chemical Engineering)
Experience: 1-3 Years
Salary: 1,50,000 to 2,00,000 INR CTC/PA
