Position: Key Accounts Manager, Institution Business

Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India

Job Description:

Novo Nordisk India affiliate office is in Bangalore & has more than 1,300 people working across the country in various functions. The Key Account Manager is accountable for a specific region and reports to the Institution Manager – Chennai

About the department

The position

  • As Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for understanding the local market and customer needs and position Novo Nordisk products and services to improve the life of patients and maximize sales within the assigned territory.
  • You will be identifying/ mapping key stakeholders in each account, meet the external stakeholders and detail the company’s products, and implement the company’s institution marketing campaigns and projects (a B2B approach).
  • You will be responsible for competitive intelligence, compile, analyze, and report market trends, investments, pricing, and activities by competitors on a monthly basis.
  • You should have knowledge of key industry business drivers, emerging medical trends, and performance metrics and the ability to leverage that knowledge to inform strategy. Review and monitor campaign (impact analysis) and ROI on investments.
  • You will build strong advocacy of Novo Nordisk’s portfolio with key external stakeholders through on-going/ robust scientific interactions.
  • Building relationships with physicians, and medical staff from referring hospitals to ensure understanding, as well as to close business, ensuring that obstacles are identified and minimized.
  • Ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures. Also, compliance with all relevant district statutory requirements.

Desired Skills:

  • Good at business developments at ground levels in hospitals
  • Good in communication, analytical and negotiation skill and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • A strong track record in thorough planning, execution and follow-up is required, with a creative and innovative attitude that will enable you to drive initiatives with operational excellence in mind

Qualification: B.Sc/B.Pharma for Reputed College/Institution

Experience: Minimum 5 Years in Industry and 2-3 Years working with Institution Business

Salary: Negotiable (Best in Industry)
