Designation: Key Account Specialist (Field Work Position)

Location: Multiple Locations across India

Purpose of Job Position:

  • To establish the concept of Severe Eosinophilic asthma as a separate phenotype in Severe asthma space and position Nucala as the drug of choice for treating such patients.
  • The incumbent will lead the execution of core activities to achieve short- and long-term sales/contribution objectives for all strategic accounts.
  • Ownership of Sales, Commercial contracts, Partnerships across the Key Accounts, and Private Hospital channel.

Job Description:

  • To manage public/Private sector accounts within the framework of the access landscape.
  • Develop/maintain effective relationships with key customers which include Pulmonologists, administrative and decision-making roles (CEO, CFO, COO, Head of Pharmacy & Procurement, etc.)
  • To have a well-developed understanding of managing different stakeholders within the supply process including distributor relation & tender process.
  • Prioritize accounts based on revenues, potential headroom for future growth, the strength of relationships, and GSK’s competitive position.
  • Ensure key accounts and private hospitals performs beyond set objectives and market performance.
  • Collaborate with third parties and other stakeholders for effective deployment of the patient assistance programs.
  • To plan and execute SPMs, Round table meetings (RTMs) with Severe asthma experts in the territory.
  • To collaborate with the medical team including Medical advisors, MSLs to drive understanding of Severe Eosinophilic asthma across relevant stakeholders.
  • The key account specialist role for Nucala is that of an Individual Contributor, who is someone who DOES NOT manage a team. Individual contributors play a key role in shaping the specialty businesses.

Qualification: Graduation (B.Sc/B.Pharma)

Experience: Exposure of Respiratory and Critical Care will be preferred.
