Position: Maintainance Incharge

Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India

Job Description:

  • Manage the activities of the Engineering Team to provide maintenance support for equipment/system breakdowns, new installations, and planned maintenance within the business area
  • Arrange Permit to Work where relevant
  • Prepare Risk Assessments  for critical projects whenever necessary
  • Arrange and monitor the actives of Third-Party resources to complete contracted tasks
  • Authorize the allocation of resource and scheduling of tasks
  • Complete electronic notification and/or paper documents to confirm completion of tasks
  • Participate in engineering incident investigations,/ Safety investigations related to  maintenance failures and scheduling issues
  • Ensure equipment services or events which are out of regulatory compliance are reported using the relevant procedure

  • Initiate and participate in the investigation and documentation of equipment/system modifications using the relevant Change Control procedure
  • Participate in the preparation and presentation of systems and documentation to maintain continuous compliance
  • Complete regulatory documentation
  • Attend process related meetings to monitor the availability and continuous compliance of equipment and systems
  • Ensure equipment status is monitored and communicated to Operational Personnel
  • Ensure Team, members are trained and developed for the areas to be accessed and activities to be performed
