Position: Manager Business Development – In Licensing

Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra

Job Description:

  • Conceptualize and develop new products and services – organically or via partnerships and acquisitions
  • Creating new opportunities for growing the business, organically and inorganically through in-licensing
  • Building the comprehensive business case for selected technologies/ product opportunities including an overview of all development/ launch activities Assisting the global new product team in identifying/evaluating new drug / biological targets from a marketing perspective (NPV analysis etc)
  • Taking ownership of the existing portfolio of new businesses, making recommendations on which ones have the most upside, developing the supporting business plans, and most importantly, executing to get them to market
  • Overseeing sales force effectiveness and liaising with recognized industry thought leaders to develop a best-in-class sales excellence strategy
  • Driving and securing significant productivity improvements and optimizing resource allocation through regular sales structure reviews in close collaboration with sales management
  • In conjunction with a product, management identify new applications for existing product lines -drive the internal growth of the company

The Successful Candidate:

  • You will come with at least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, out of which at least 3 years should have a Strong exposure in in-licensing and business development.
  • You will be up to date with industry and competitor activities and will have a thorough understanding of regulatory requirements.
  • Strong collaboration and networking with industry KOLs and business thought leaders is essential. Astute business acumen, including strategic financial planning and the ability to guide the team’s efforts and energies in suitable projects and initiatives, will be desired.

Qualification: B.Sc/B.Pharma/Graduation

Experience: 3-7 Years

Salary: Negotiable
