Position: Manager – Invitro Biology
Location: Vadodara, Gujarat, India
Job Description:
Roles & Responsibilities:
The key position that requires experience and relevant skill sets to immediately support the ongoing NCE screening and other research and development activities in multiple programs with minimal guidance
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform in vitro NCE screening experiments and generate reports (cell-based and biochemical assays) in a timely manner.
- Independently design and execute new experiments & develop new assays and validate them
- Independently troubleshooting assays and redesign experiments to achieve final outcome
- Train juniors and freshers; Will be involved in routine lab maintenance activities
- Generate new ideas;
- Conduct and assist in target evaluations
Technical Skills:
- Expertise in cell-based and cell-free assay technologies;
- proficiency in medium and high throughput screening;
- Exposure to molecular biology and recombinant DNA technology, experience in stable cell line generation, knockdown and knockout experiments, new assay development.
- Experience in biomarker studies, the conduct of assays requiring assessment of immune system-mediated responses will be preferred.
- Expertise in protein expression and purification will be desirable.
Qualification: M.Sc/ M.Pharma, Ph.D
Experience: 1-3 years industry experience post PhD/M.Sc or M.Pharm with 8-10 years industry experience
