Quality Assurance Manager – India

We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to support the fast-growing Indian affiliate. About the department

Novo Nordisk India affiliate office is in Bangalore & has more than 1,300 people working across the country in various functions. Quality Assurance Manager position reports directly to the Director of Clinical Medical Regulatory and Quality (India).

The position

  • As Quality Assurance Manager, you are primarily responsible for quality management, business development, and compliance in Clinical Operations. You will support the implementation and maintenance of Novo Nordisk India quality systems in accordance with the global Novo Nordisk quality systems and local quality requirements.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring in-time implementation of all quality assurance requirements in the affiliate. Ensure compliance with GxP, internal/external quality assurance, and business ethics requirements. Leading and managing the qualification and validation of information technology systems and products.
  • You will ensure effective implementation of systematic problem-solving methods for deviations which are based on CLEAN methodologies while playing an important role in effective implementation of root cause analysis and respective CAPA (corrective action and preventive action). Train and manage employees in quality assurance matters, ensure induction training for new joiners in quality management systems. As a qualified lead auditor, you will lead and support both external and internal partners for quality audits.
  • Overall this role demands a very strong quality assurance person with a vision, who can work in a challenging yet rewarding environment, who can communicate complex issues in a simple and understandable manner, who understand quality risks and how they can impact business and carries the values of the organization with his team. All this should result in achieving strong quality KPIs, and ensuring an on-time implementation of all QA requirements in the affiliate


You have a bachelor’s degree in  Science with relevant certifications in quality management and preferably an ISO standard trained lead auditor. You have more than 8 years of progressive experience with clinical quality assurance. You have to be curious to learn, adept at driving change, possess business acumen, and have ownership mindset while leading the function. You have a proven ability to drive business results in a complex and dynamic environment. Fluency in English is required.
