Position: Head Marketing

Location: Bhat, Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Job Description:

Major Purpose of the Job:

  • The job holder shall be responsible for the preparation of marketing mix, design, and implementation of successful marketing strategies, scanning of the market for identification & expansion into various therapies.
  • Identification of potential candidates whilst maximizing the current portfolio in various stages through appropriate line extensions.
  • The jobholder will support the business head in achieving the budgeted targets and market shares by sustaining high volume brands, developing a strong portfolio of second-line brands ensuring higher evolution indices and profitability

Principal TASKS & Responsibilities:

  • Development/ Usage of communication strategy & tools
  • Explore/ Identify potential market segments & new frontiers
  • Liaison with production & supply chain department to ensure availability of stocks as per billing plans
  • Training of salesforce for implementation of promotional strategy, USPs, etc
  • Interaction & Negotiation with customers directly through customer visits
  • Review on the effectiveness of strategies, tools, etc
  • Feedback from internal customers (employees, line managers, etc.)
  • Interaction with colleagues (phone calls, personal interaction, meetings, etc)
  • Travel to locations to oversee implementation of marketing programs
  • Key customer Development (CRM activities)
  • Formulation & Execution of Products/Therapies Promotion & Marketing Strategies & Budget:
  • Promotion Plans and Communication Strategies
  • STP for products and USP’s

Campaigns

  • Design & development of literature, brochures, clinical inputs, and other promo-tools with Studio, outside agencies, consultants, and vendors.
  • Training & Development of new joiner and on the job training while in the fieldwork

 Field Work:

  • To oversee the execution of products/therapy marketing strategies
  • Understand Competition, Clinical Trends
  • Meeting Selected KOLs Higher level of scientific communications on products FABs, understanding Customer preferences, views
  • Conferences Participation
  • Better Alignment of HO and Sales on Marketing Aspects

Qualification: B.Pharma/M.Pharma, MBA/PGDM from Reputed Institute

Experience: 3-8 Years Over All Pharma in Large MNC/Multispeciality Organization, the ideal candidate should have 5 Yrs experience of Marketing out of which 2-3 Years at PMT & Team handling size of 2 Reports.

Salary: Negotiable
