Novo Nordisk India is looking for a Senior Product Manager / Product Manager” for the GLP 1 team, to take brand management and promotion to the next level. The position is based at Novo Nordisk India, Bangalore and will be reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager.

Job Description:

About the department

Novo Nordisk India affiliate office is in Bangalore & has more than 1,300 people working across the country in various functions. The team is responsible for marketing, market access, and public relations. The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for managing product marketing strategy, developing marketing plans, and executing of product marketing objectives.

The Position:

To develop local product marketing strategy with the Marketing Manager and facilitate launch and sales execution as well as follow-up on the marketing programs with internal stakeholders, working in order to achieve short and long term business objectives.

Key Accountabilities:

Brand Management

  • Promotion of the product
  • Designing promotional mix of the product
  • Conceptualization and design of inputs for the field
  • Planning and initiating activities like PMS, CMEs, Doctor programs, patient initiation/Contact programs
  • Fieldwork for insight into activity/strategy implementation
  • Developing and nurturing key opinion leader pool
  • Field communication, feedback, and correction
  • Ensure and maintain customer focus
  • Ensure mass-based activities

Purpose and subject of interaction with internal/external customers and key contacts:

  • Provide affiliate management with product and marketing updates.
  • Ensure sales force knowledge and training about product marketing plans and campaigns.
  • Create a mutually beneficial relationship with KOLs and healthcare professionals (HCPs).
  • Represent Novo Nordisk in congresses and company meetings.

Challenges with regard to innovation and change

  • Develop a competitive product marketing plan, executing counter-strategies when necessary.
  • Adapt product strategy to the local patient needs.

Qualification: Post Graduate / MBA in Marketing

Experience: 3-5 years of experience in Marketing and Product management

Salary: Negotiable
