Position: Regional Business Manager Ophthalmic

Location: Bangalore, Karnataka

Division: Optima Division

Job Description:

  • To manage a team of Area Managers and Medical Representatives to achieve their territory targets thus achieving the regional targets consistently.
  • To plan the Budget and the working of each Area Manager in such a way that maximum ROI is achieved.
  • To develop existing markets and identifying new business avenues.
  • KOL Management.
  • To supervise and coach each team member through proper Induction and hand holding from time to time by conducting On Job Training in joint working and providing feedback consistently.
  • To focus on inventory management, sales hygiene, and co-ordination with CFA.
  • To monitor the working and sales performance of the team in terms of their Customer list, Product Knowledge, Coverage, Achievement, Inventory, etc. with the help of tools like feedback from each ABM, personal contacts, stockiest/CFA feedback, secondary sales statement, call reports, etc.
  • To add value to the business during joint working with field & Head Office members.
  • To recognize and appreciate the work of his Team Members and also to counsel and discipline them at times.
  • To ensure zero vacancies in the region by referring quality candidates for the selection process.
  • To be a link between the B.E., ABM, SM, and the HO team.
  • To review and analyze sales and activities.

Desired Candidate Profiles:

  • Good command over English and regional language.
  • Must possess good knowledge of working with computers independently which includes Email, MS Office, online meetings.

Qualification: B.Sc/B.Pharma

Experience: 8-10 Years in Pharma with 2-3 Years as RSM

Salary: Negotiable (As per Industry Standards)
