Position: Research Associates
Location: Zaheerabad, Telangana
Job Description:

Read and understand the chemical process from the customer tech-pack, literature or from existing internal reports
-
Suggest suitable process development/optimization to the existing process
-
Work closely with the analytical team to ensure suitable process controls are developed and established for any process
-
Perform lab experiments towards familiarization, optimization, and development of the existing chemical process
-
Record and document the experiments including all observations in the lab notebook as per ALCOA principles
-
Keep the Group Leader/HOD well informed about the experiments and their results
-
Solve the problems and queries related to the development of the product and discuss them with the Group Leader/HOD
-
Understand the scalability of the chosen process, in coordination with TSD and Production
-
Draft process development report (PDR) and lab familiarization report (LFR) and review with DQA
-
Work with the analytical team to draft reliable spec and MoA for all the raw materials, intermediates, and final products in any process
-
Perform technology transfer for new projects to the manufacturing. Should have a thorough knowledge of GMP aspects of the scale-up
-
Understand the documentation of the kilo lab/plant. Assist and review the BMR of the new projects to ensure compliance to GMP
-
IUT support for raw material vendor qualification and plant batches
-
Familiarize with the problems faced during scale-up and work with the TSD team for plant troubleshooting, investigation and route cause analysis
-
Interact seamlessly with the cross-functional teams and have very good working relations to solve challenges in the least possible time
-
Draft weekly client/internal reports as per the guidance of the Group Lead for presenting to the management and customer

Understand the safety and environmental aspect of the new/existing processes
-
Keep the work area neat and clean and always in a presentable condition
-
Discharge all the additional lab responsibilities other than the projects that will be assigned from time to time by the Group Lead/HOD
Qualification: B.Sc Chemistry, MS/M.Sc Chemistry
Experience: 3-5 Years
