Position: Senior Manager, Talent & Organization Consulting (TOC)

Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra, India

Job Description:

Purpose of Role

  • Provide thought leadership and play the role as a principal consultant.
  • Professional Level Individual Contributor with comprehensive knowledge and rich experience in HR Talent & Organization Development Consulting area.
  • Works as an internal advisor to Business Leaders and Business HR (BHR) Leaders in area of Talent and Organization Development.
  • Builds and sustains productive working relationships with peers in a matrix environment; provides TOC support to the business; represents their country(ies) and businesses to TOC, and is a subject matter expert on the businesses and country(ies) they support.
  • Design, develop and execute highly complex or specialized projects. Adapts precedent and may make significant departures from traditional approaches to develop solutions to meet business needs and drive business results.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Proactively works with Business HR partners to design and implement talent and organization plans. This may include organization/ team effectiveness, focus groups, leadership development, and change management.

Organization Development:

Work with business leaders and affiliate/division Business HR (BHR) leaders to assess, diagnose, plan and implement strategic talent and organization solutions to support business strategy. Analyzes business needs; identifies gaps between ideal and actual performance required to meet organizational business needs and determine performance deficiencies; aligns solutions with business goals. Proactively works with Talent Development partners to design and implement talent and organization initiatives and plans. This may include organization/team effectiveness, leadership development, culture development, and change management. Measures and reports the impact of talent & organization consulting interventions using evaluation, metrics, focus groups, and performance results. Driving a culture of continuous improvement and effectiveness through the development of strong relationships with key players.

Talent Development:

Drives and executes country talent strategy and Abbott talent practice according to business/organization needs provides consulting support to BHR and/or key customers and stakeholders. Provides consulting support to Business Leaders and BHR Leaders and/or key customers and stakeholders on design and executing key talent programs. Responsible for executing In-Stride and FLDP. May lead or participate in talent management-related activities such as Cross-Division TMR preparation and facilitation, talent pipeline readiness, and talent development. Responsible for employee career development and for planning, designing, and delivering training programs that make the best use of employee’s current and future abilities. Be able to facilitate workshops/ meetings and other formats of interventions as a part of the TOC solution.

Learning & Development:

Be responsible for complex analysis of the training needs of employees to develop training programs that enhance their know-how, skills, and performance. Design, source, and deliver training programs, or recommend externally-provided programs, which meet the needs of individuals and are consistent with the organization’s overall training plan. Counsel employees about the organization’s training programs and policies and arrange for them to participate in internal and external training so the organization’s training resources are allocated effectively.

Coaching & Development

Coach and provide instruction to junior HR professional Drive the team’s success and performance to better demonstrate her/his competency and maturity as well as to develop credibility needed to be a team leader/player.

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced degree in Organization Development, MBA, Human Resource Management, or MA in Psychology is preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 12-15 years of experience with 5 – 6 years in in Human Resources, Consulting, or relevant OD or Talent Development experience in a multinational Org of large scale Business
