Position: Sr Manager – Office of Ethics & Compliance

Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra

Job Description:

  • The Sr. Manager OEC monitoring will provide advice and counsel on matters of compliance and ethical business practices. Key job requirements include :

  • A clear understanding of Indian compliance landscape, relevant laws, industry codes, and practices.

  • Work quickly to understand Abbott’s business structures, practices, Compliance policies, and procedures to provide policy and documentation advice.

  • Strong analytical capabilities and eye for detail. Ability to drive discussions and establish proactive preventive controls based on strong data analytics

  • Monitor high-risk transactions on a timely basis, define applicable system controls in place for review, approval of the activity.

  • Contribute to Quarterly Compliance meetings with the senior leadership with dashboards for appropriate report outs.

  • Work closely with counterparts to establish consistent compliance practices across affiliates.

  • Working knowledge of Anti Bribery compliance including Third-party compliance and Government interaction requirements.

  • Conducting training for new joiners as well as customized training for groups based on Compliance requirements.

  • Ability to work in a faced paced and highly dynamic work environment – be quick thinking and proactive.

  • In addition, he/she will collaborate and consult with Business Compliance, Legal, Human Resources, Medical to ensure the successful integration and implementation of compliance and ethics across all businesses in Abbott India.

Skill, Education, Experience

Required Education / Experience

  • Chartered Accountant or Lawyer with Previous experience in a Compliance Role of a multinational Healthcare Company.
  • Ideally, the candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of related professional experience including some pharmaceutical or health care compliance program experience as either a member of a multinational compliance team, consultant, or outside counsel.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills, self-starter and problem solver
  • Strong communication skills and management experience for the more senior position..
