Position: Team Member FP&A

Location: Mumbai Suburbs, Maharashtra, India

Job Description:

Job Purpose:

Deliver annual plan and focus on sustainable value creation through automation of systems and processes, effective communication, strong collaboration with BUs and Functions, and action-oriented recommendations while adding competitive impact to enable management to steer the company into the top quartile of the sector in terms of value creation.

Key Accountabilities:

I. Deliver simplified & comprehensive Board Presentations on results along with detailed scorecards for the month & complete bridge vs plan to enable management to identify hits and misses

  • Prepare standalone & consolidated management accounts
  • Collaborate with Corporate Accounts with the monthly P&L closing activities
  • P&L and key performance metrics reporting
  • Monthly flash on business performance (sales by BU & provisional P&L / LBE) for the Board
  • Provide visibility to the leadership on the key business risks – sales, mix, costs, competition
  • Enhance the quality of the investor relations material to provide better external communication

II. Partner with BUs and Functions to achieve cost management and delivery of the annual plan

  • Holding actual vs budget discussions with BUs
  • Understanding and preparing business analysis – DTM / B2B, book integration implications et
  • Performing monthly variance analysis for corporate functions (HR, Legal, IT etc.) and intervention planning to help deliver the plans
  • Identify risks & opportunities in P&L delivery – one-offs, recurring costs assessment
  • Work with corporate functions & BU CFOs for ring-fencing & cost control

III. Drive Compliance and Simplification to ensure proactive decision making

  • Automation – Automation of management books
  • Design and deployment of Corporate Dashboards / Scorecards

IV. Design the annual operating plan/budget and forecast future performance for the company to monitor and control performance (growth & margins)

  • Work with the BUs/Functions on the next year budget planning for bottoms up
  • Integrate the budget plans for one central budgeting & P&L prep
  • Provide trend-based and BU LBE guidance to the business leadership team
  • Simulation-based forecasting for the quarterly & full-year P&L

V. Benchmark vs peer group to ensure the company is in the top quartile of the sector and undertake special projects as required

  • P&L cloning and FSA of key competitors
  • Help different teams in the organization on special/one-off projects/requests/analysis

Qualification: CA

Experience: 1-3 Years

Salary: 8,00,000 to 14,00,000 INR CTC/PA
