Position: Utility & STP Incharge

Location: Sholinganallur, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India

Job Description:

  • Monitor utility equipment like HVAC, Scrubbers, Chilling Plant, RO Plant, DM Plant, MilliQ, N2 Plant, STP operations, DX Systems, Air Compressor, Pumps.
  • Communicate with Operations to establish equipment availability for  24X7.
  • Schedule team resources and modify them as required to optimize allocation. Perform planned maintenance in accordance with PM Schedule and raising related work permits as per the prevailing procedure.
  • Supports third party resources to complete contracted tasks
  • Be confident and able to deputize as a Maintenance manager for the team and customers as required
  • Communicate and reschedule failed activities in accordance with GRP processes
  • Schedule reactive works on demand in accordance with GRP processes
  • Identify/Check requirements for components/activities and make arrangements to ensure availability for scheduled tasks

  • Monitor electronic notification and/or paper documents to confirm completion of tasks and report as requested
  • Deliver Planned Maintenance Rationalisation on existing engineering activities, identify improved maintenance plans
  • Contribute to and lead Planned Maintenance Optimisation exercises with the aim to utilize condition-based and predictive maintenance, identifying opportunities to increase operator care
  • Participate in engineering incident investigations, related to maintenance scheduling issues
  • Attend operations/process meetings to monitor the ongoing availability of equipment and systems
  • Maintain and increase the existence of job plans
  • Provide feedback to operational teams and customers in areas that will increase planning efficiency
  • Understand reliability metrics and how to positively influence them
  • Seek to operate the maintenance support to the areas in a financially responsible way, seeking at all times opportunities for continuous improvement whilst at the same time maintaining appropriate service levels to the client and compliance of the areas’ assets
