Designation: Zonal Manager (2nd Line Manager)

Location: Aurangabad, Maharashtra

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Goal Setting

    • Align the team with overall Zonal objectives
    • Drive the culture of performance orientation
    • Act as a role model for the team members
    • Drive performance of the power brands
  • Achieving and Exceeding Zone Budget

    • Drive the growth and performance of power brands in the Zone by aligning the team with Zonal business objectives
    • Maximize the existing opportunities by creating targeted approached through the team
    • Periodic tracking of zone ROI

  • Business Development

    • Drive and validate conversion planning and ensure periodic update of the status
    • Rationalize activities in the zone by validating current business, opportunities and potential of activities
    • Spearhead new business development and drive maximization of existing business new business
    • Acts as a custodian of Zone P&L
    • Ensure Demand and Supply Alignment by handling CFA operations
    • Focus on building brands through innovative customer approaches
  • Planning and Organizing

    • Drive customer wise territory wise business plans through ensuring advanced planning by the team
    • Design performance improvement plans for weak territories
    • Provide periodic feedback on the sales and non-sales Key Performance Indicators to the RM
    • Keep track of inventory management for each RM
    • Be aware of the critical and potential vacancies and ensure rapid and effective recruitment to minimize potential business loss

  • Team Coaching and feedback

    • Coach the RM and develop them as an effective people manager
    • Demonstrate influencing and rapid decision-making abilities and act as a bridge between BDM, RM, and TM
    • Conduct periodic performance review and provide documented feedback to align the team on a common platform
    • Monitoring and sharing critical market insights to the team, BDM and marketing
    • Observe RMs during field coaching and TM review and provide reinforcement and development feedback
  • Teamwork and collaboration

    • Acts as a bridge between HR, L&D, and Marketing and provide a regular update about the team’s strength, challenges, and opportunities
    • Identify the critical developmental needs of the team members and keep HR and L&D updated on the requirements
    • Collaborate upward and downward to capitalize on newer opportunities, sharing market dynamics
    • Create an open, transparent and encouraging environment and minimize communication gaps within the team
    • Demonstrate unbiased approaches to the team and business situations

Qualification: Graduation/Post Graduation
