Novo Nordisk India is looking for a Senior Product Manager / Product Manager” for the GLP 1 team, to take brand management and promotion to the next level. The position is based at Novo Nordisk India, Bangalore and will be reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager.

Job Description:

About the department

Novo Nordisk is a Denmark-based multinational with leadership in diabetes. Novo Nordisk India affiliate office is located in Bangalore & has more than 1400 people working across the country in various functions. We have Zonal offices in all the four Metro cities of India. The Zonal Product Manager (s) will be reporting to the Marketing Manager.

The Position

  • As a Zonal Product Manager, you will be responsible for designing and executing the marketing plan for the Diabetes product portfolio of Novo Nordisk.
  • You will be leading the communication for the product promotions and plans, to the sales force ensuring alignment with Novo Nordisk strategy.
  • Being responsible for driving the implementation of product strategies and campaigns, monitoring impact and performance regularly.

    Providing practical and motivational product and pre-launch training for product promotion specialists and new sales representatives.

  • Planning & executing activities like Symposia, Congresses, Association meetings.
  • In collaboration with the creative team and event agencies ensuring the success of promotional campaigns. Identifying, developing, nurturing, and maintaining relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and Healthcare Professionals.
  • Undertaking fieldwork for gaining insight into activity and strategy implementation. Monitoring competitor activities & give regular feedbacks on competitor activities

Desired Skills:

  • You hold a full-time Masters’s degree in Marketing Management. You have a minimum experience of 3+ years in marketing and product management
  • As a Marketing professional, you should be good at developing a competitive product marketing plan
  • You should have an excellent communication skills both oral and written
  • Strong at stakeholder management
  • A strong track record in thorough planning, execution, and follow-up is required, with a creative and innovative attitude that will enable you to drive initiatives with operational excellence in mind
  • You will be required to work on three of the Saturdays in a month, with the second Saturday being an off, this is as per the zonal working policy

Qualification: BAMS/BDS/B.Sc/B.Pharma/B.Tech/B.E

Experience: 3-8 Years as Product Manager & initial 1-2 Years in Sales

Salary: Negotiable
