Position: Zonal Sales Manager

Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India

Job Description:

FMCG – Zonal Sales Manager – General Trade – South Zone Head

Consumer Product Division: Sedamed range of products

Zonal Sales Manager is responsible for establishing the General Trade setup for an emerging FMCG (premium baby & adult cosmetics portfolio. The organization has a presence in other channels ( Modern trade, E-commerce, and Chemist stores) and now it’s determined to build General Trade.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • The candidate will be fully accountable for the General trade sales strategy and revenue growth of the company for the South Zone.
  • He/she coaches the General trade team for an efficient & effective ROI.
  • Razor-sharp focus on multiplying market share
  • Sound & forward-thinking and planning skills.
  • Establish a distributor network.
  • Promote positive relations with partners, vendors & distributors.
  • Responsible for top-line & bottom line for General trade
  • Market & environmental scanning, advice on business trends & changes in the market place.
  • Manage the sales team & ensure smooth functioning of the zone.
  • Ensure all General Trade-related claims: sales & distributions claims.
  • Efficiency tracking of all the investments & promotions
  • Monitoring team day to day activities & their performance evaluation.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Min. Graduate with MBA from top 20 Management Institution.
  • Experience: 10+ in FMCG sales.
  • Relevant experience: Current position as Regional Manager/ Zonal Manager and handling General trade portfolio is a must.
  • Candidates presently working in FMCG companies only apply for the job.

Qualification: Graduation, MBA/PGDM

Experience: 10-16 Years

Salary: Negotiable
